It is the story of two dogs and a cat, left to guard the house - but more importantly - to guard the freshly made and absolutely delicious fudge! The art work in this 42 page hardback is wonderful. The author includes a recipe for fudge and a reminder that chocolate is really not good for dogs. Written by Danae Dobson, Woof books combine fun, adventure and important spiritual values. Children will be captivated by the feats of this lovable mutt, who shows God's principles work best. An interesting book from Britain about a boy Ben and his best friend, Scrumpy the Beardie. When Scrumpy dies, Ben is very sad. It takes Ben a long time to decide he is ready to have another dog. Lovely illustrations. "Scrumpy" was written by Elizabeth Dale and illustrated by Frederic Joos. This copy was published in Great Britain in 1994.
