BICHONS - NATURALLY
By Joan Briggs

A tale of a Summer in the South of England with Abigail and Henry, two Bichon Frises and the two humans they owned, Joan and Derek Briggs. The pair of Bichons got to a summer cottage, tramp the valleys round up a lost Newfie, attract a local Border Collie, and other adventures. A romp through the Summer with two Bichons who showed the two-leggers how to live. This soft cover book was written by Joan Briggs with photos by Derek Briggs. The book has 96 pages, was printed in 1998 by Rolf Press and is new. Bk1 - $13.50

DR. WHITE By Jane Goodall - BkDrW - $14.95

Dr. White is the true story of a Bichon Frise who was adopted by a London children's hospital, whose love and affection for the young patients there aided in their recovery. A remarkable story of pet-therapy before there was such a program. This gently used hardback copy is in excellent condition, complete with dust jacket. The book was written by the eminent British ethologist Dr. Jane Goodall and beautifully illustrated by French artist, Julie Litty.

ANNIE AND COUSIN PRECIOUS - BkAnnie - $14.95
When Cousin Precious comes for a visit, Papa expects Annie to be a good hostess. But it is hard, because Precious is not a good guest. For one thing, her fancy dance shoes go tippy-tap, tippy-tap all the time. She plays too rough with Annie's dollies. And she insists on always having her own way. Cousin Precious starts wreaking havoc in the special playhouse that Papa built, and Annie decides she has had enough of being a hostess. Nothing is resolved until the two girls confront their differences - and finally discover that maybe they can get along after all. This gently used hardback copy is in excellent condition, complete with dust jacket.

THE CHERRY PIE BABY - BkPie - $14.95

What Annie wantes most in the world was a baby brother. What she had was a doll named David with a loose nose and a frayed ear. But, because she helped her Papa on his pie wagon, she figures out a way to trade for a baby brother. And, in the end, she gets what she really wants - a friend to play with. A charming story with charming illustrations. This hardback copy is in excellent condition.
