The 48-page children's book has pictures on each page illustrating how Lass was rescued from an unhappy, unsuited life in the city, how she learned to again trust humans and become a great sheepdog. The book also has suggested discussions for each chapter to reinforce important lessons. The 8.5"w x 11"h hardback book and dust jacket are in great condition. He rides on the tractor to guard and round up the lambs and winds up guarding the tractor while it is being repaired after the accident. Written by Marilyn Tolhurst and illustrated by Andrew Geeson, this First Edition hardback was published by Bright Sparks, UK in 2000. This copy is in excellent condition with no rips or tears.
