Long out-of-print, "Ruff" is the tale of an Airedale stuffed toy for whom no one has ever cared enough to have a birthday party. He is taken in by some other toys, who give him not one, but seven parties. Written and beautifully illustrated by Jane Hissey, the 32 page hardback is the First American Edition, 1994. This hardback copy is in great condition, complete with dust jacket. However, it does have stickers on the front flyleaf covering up an inspription, and scuffing on the corners. And the dust jacket has some soft folds and a 1" tear along the top at the spine. The dust jacket could be removed as the picture on the front cover is the same. $24.95

Christina Katerina's true and best friend was Fats Watson, whom she liked a lot except when she didn't like him at all. But still, aside from the fact that he could be as s-l-o-w as a turtle and s-t-u-b-b-o-r-n as one, too, there wasn't much she didn't like about him - until the time obnoxious Tommy Morehouse moved into the house between her house and Fats Watson's, and Tommy wanted to be the general in the soldiers game, and Fats took Tommy's side against Christina, and the great neighborhood was began.
